Money loan recovery law in Bangladesh is governed in significant part by the Artha Rin Adalat Ain, 2003. The Act applies throughout Bangladesh and establishes a specialist court process for recovery suits brought by financial institutions, with procedures that differ in important respects from ordinary civil litigation.
An Artha Rin matter may require review of the facility documents, account statements, securities, guarantees, mortgages or pledges, demand history, and the steps taken before filing.
